EFT Level 3 - Training to Advanced Level

The Next Level 3 training course is on 27th & 28th September 2008

EFT SEAL Level3This is a 2 day training workshop which is open to anyone who has completed an approved EFT Level 2 course. Participants are welcome irrespective of where they have received their previous training provided they possess a Level 2 certificate awarded by a recognised trainer or (in the opinion of Phoenix EFT) have sufficient knowledge gained elsewhere that this can be waived. Please note that this is option is rarely granted.

It is not necessary for you to have completed the Phoenix EFT Level 2 Practitioner Examination and Case Study requirement before proceeding to Level 3 as this assessment is optional at this time. You may wish to complete it at a later date and most of the students who have completed the process have found the experience and the feedback to be very useful in their professional development.

This Level 3 training course is fully compliant with the requirements for Level 3 training which have been established by Gary Craig and by The Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques (AAMET).

An Attendance Certificate (Level 3) will be issued at the end of the two-day Level 3 training workshop.

For those of you who are members of AAMET this gives probationary status of Level 3 (Advanced Practitioner)

This probationary status is extended to full Advanced Practitioner status after 12 months on completion of the Supervision and CPD requirements (see later notes) of AAMET. Those who attain an Attendance Certificate after attending a Level 3 Workshop will not be listed as ‘Level 3’ until they complete twelve months satisfactory supervision and are awarded their Practitioner (Level 3) certification.

In specific circumstances alternatives may be taken in lieu of the above requirements and in some cases exemption from them may be granted. Such alternatives and exemptions may be granted after discussion between two members of the AAMET Training Triumvirate and any such cases will be referred to them by Phoenix EFT.

Course Content:

In Gary Craig’s requirements for Level 3 it simply says “everything else not already covered at Level 1 and 2”.

The information given in Levels 1 and 2 will equip you to do quality work at a professional level but time is always limited on these courses and there are areas which are not covered in depth. EFT is an evolving therapy and there are always new techniques, refinements, additional information, "art of delivery" issues and areas of specialised practice that need to be understood and practiced. This is the material which we aim to introduce at Level 3. Understanding of all topics is essential to developing your expertise.

Consequently, training at Level 3 is a peer group experience as well as a training course. We will give you new information to absorb, but also you are expected to contribute greatly from your own experiences and viewpoint. The synergistic effect of a wide variety of practitioners working together and discussing results can lead to remarkable insights and ideas about where to go next in a difficult case. There is also considerable advantage to be gained from the opportunity to network and meet and get to know other practitioners.

Topics include:

Introductions/Welcome/Course Structure

  • Student-student interactive practical sessions where you can practice new techniques on each other and then share results and insights with the group
  • Q/A sessions

In Addition:

Level 3 AAMET Practitioners are also required to maintain their knowledge of EFT and its most recent developments by means of a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) System. CPD Units are gained by undertaking various actions seen as helping the practitioner to keep up to date and abreast of new developments.

The CPD Requirements:

A total of at least 5 CPD Units must be gained in each year after the initial Level 3 training workshop. Units can be gained as follows:

  • Assessed Case Study (not more than two/year)

1 Unit

  • Other EFT based Workshops (Separately Assessed)

Up to 4 Units

  • Personal Study (Documented)

1 Unit/year

  • Published Article

1 Unit/year

  • Leading Reported EFT Group

1 Unit/year

See full details in the 'Regulations' section of www.aamet.org

Other CPD activities may be assessed and allowed on application to the AAMET (TLlewellyn@aol.com)

As AAMET registered trainers we are responsible for maintaining a record of the CPD and supervision activities completed by each student we have trained to Level 3 and who is following the AAMET guidelines. We then must notify AAMET of each student’s current status. If records are not updated at the right time the Level 3 listing for that student is withdrawn.

It is the student’s responsibility to organise such activities for themselves and to obtain suitable documentation to support their CPD claim which they must then forward to us before the end of each registration year. The year is deemed to begin on the date of completion of the primary Level 3 training course.

Group Supervision Days

Fee: £50 per person to include a buffet lunch

Venue: Our Therapy Practice in Solihull.

Time: 10.00am to 5.00pm.

Next Scheduled Supervision dates:

Sunday 27th July 2008

Sunday 9th November 2008

We aim for a relaxed, informal atmosphere and Group size is held to a maximum of 6 people per day to enable everyone to participate fully.

These days are designed to help Practitioners to expand their understanding of EFT and healing in general and to develop a confidence in the therapy and their ability to deliver it at a very high level of expertise. You will have a chance to ask and answer questions, try out new ideas and techniques, work on your own issues, and to talk through your cases and receive feedback from people who are experienced enough to understand the subtleties of the work that we do.

You do not need to have done your primary training with us; all qualified practitioners are very welcome to attend. The supervision days are primarily aimed at Level 3 practitioners but are also open to level 2 practitioners wishing to gain more experience.

Each supervision day gives 6 hours of contact time which is half of the requirement for the probationary Level 3 year and is the full supervisory requirement for subsequent years. You will receive an attendance certificate for your CPD record.

We may organise more supervision days or sessions on request wherever possible provided that we have a minimum of 2 students per session.

Individual Supervision:

This may be arranged on request and may consist of a full day or part of a day in person, or several shorter sessions of phone supervision. We will adjust the content of the sessions to suit the needs of each student.

Fee for individual supervision:

£35 per hour for short sessions

£75 for a morning or afternoon (3 hours)

£150 per day (6 hours) to include lunch
